Information for the project:

The project was for the reconstruction and completion of the water supply network of the village of Erma Reka, municipality of Zlatograd. The construction was funded under Measure 322 ‘Rural Renovation and Development’ of the Rural Development Program (RDP) for the period 2007 - 2013, supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), under the Grant Agreement signed between the State Fund ‘Agriculture’ and Zlatograd Municipality.

One main branch, nine branches and the relevant building plumbing deviations, part of the network of the settlement were built at the site. The route of the water pipeline runs entirely through streets, which are public municipal property. To reduce water pressure, a reducing valve shaft was built. For the normal operation of the network, stopcocks were installed. The fire extinguishing requirements were fulfilled – fire hydrants were also installed. For the purposes of the water supply networks, supporting blocks were built for the pipe elbows, T-junctions, blind flanges and at the locations of geodetic bends. The ground in the area is highly broken and the ground base is rock. For this reason, the excavations were made by a hydraulic hammer excavator and at the locations, where there is no access due to narrowed conditions or steep slope, manually by breakers. The necessary tests and trials of the water supply network were performed. The road pavements, sidewalks, green areas, etc. affected by the construction process were recovered.
