Minstroy Holding AD received the prize in the category "Investment in expanding business"

For the thirteenth time the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA) awarded the most significant investment projects realized in the country in the past 2018. The ceremony was held on 7 March 2019 in Hall 6 of the National Palace of Culture.

Over 90 applications from companies in all spheres of economy, information technology, health, ministries, district administrations and municipalities competed in the prestigious competition. After discussions and evaluation according to an objective methodology, the competent jury admitted to the final of the competition 18 companies that realized investment projects in 2018.

Minstroy Holding AD received the prize in the category "Investment in expanding business" and the award was received by Prof. Dr. Eng. NikolayValkanov - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. The leading criteria for determining the winner in the category are the volume of the investment, the number of jobs created and the area in which an existing enterprise is expanding.

Investments are mainly focused on the extraction and processing of mineral resources. By investing in new machinery and equipment, the extraction of ore and the amount of concentrates is increased. An innovative technology has been implemented to maximize the detection of ore minerals in the processing of lead and zinc ores. The implemented innovative process enables expansion of production capacity, reduction of production costs, improvement of technological indicators, production of high quality concentrates and reduction of heavy metals in final waste.
