On August 18, 2019 in Sofia was held a National Celebration dedicated to the professional holiday of all employees in the extractive industry.

During the official part, the event host Prof. D.Sc. Eng. Nikolay Valkanov and the Minister of Energy Mrs. Temenuzhka Petkova bestowed the prize for the highest annual results in the mineral raw material industry on “Gorubso – Madan” AD, and Prof. D.Sc. Nikolay Valkanov and the Rector of the University of Mining and Geology Prof. Lyuben Totev bestowed the prize of “Minstroy Holding” JSC on Ivanka Stoyanova, who is the university’s best student in “Surveying and Geology”.
